Never mind - new shower being fitted tomorrow.:j
Lol, hey cold showers are invigorating, IF you can get over the initial shock. Mind you I'm not used to long showers ;)

I have just been out in the garden to hang the washing out and it is sunny but blowing a gale, think I might go for a walk down the lane to blow away the cobwebs. Rest of the family are still in bed:rolleyes:
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Mornin' all-lovely n sunny here, kids still in bed, came 5th in village quiz last night-we won the last one so that wasn't a good result...alhough DS did impress me when he got the one about greek mythology..Artemis he said the answer was-this from a boy who only watches Simpsons etc..!!!!!! did he get that from?????
My mum called from a charity shop yesterday-she had spotted a basket full of china which she thought was the same as my "posh" dinner service. She was right, and for 8.99 she got 6 dinner plates/6 side plates/8 teacups and saucers/coffee pot/milk jug/sugar bowl.Rough cost to replace? About £220 so a right result there !!
    Debt-free...and staying that way...

Just 2 daughters and son in law. Must get son-in-law to sort the main computer - the printer isn't talking to the laptop at the moment so I have to keep dashing to and fro with memory sticks.

    Right - dry hair now.

  • Morning all,

Lou LOVELY to see you xxxxx

It seems in my valium/painkiller induced haze last night I have bid on some "faux Mongolian cushions" and some African land snails(!?????!)

hmmm. I also bought some fish food and a new Thermometer - which was what I was looking for how the hell I ended up with the other two is anyone's guess!!

Had bacon and scrambled egg sandwich and although my tooth hurts it is not so bad.

    xx
    Nevertheless she persisted.
