...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -

Still have got to run or walk today (feel more like a 5k walk tbh) and iron Mt Bunny and hoover as well.Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -

sadly the damage is permanent and is a mixture of neurological and disc rather than joints etc
I had a disc basically get so big it squashed my spinal cord (the MRI was bizarre -just lots of shots of 'black' where the disc was over my spinal cord) which is why I have a numb leg from the knee down (very lucky to have any use of it at all really, my foot used to just 'hang') and all I can ever do now is 'manage' the situation.
I was given a choice by the neurologist of either having the disc removed completely but possibly end up in a wheelchair immediately because of what they may find during surgery damage wise that couldn't be 'put back' or in 10 years time when the disc above and below started to give way because of a missing disc, or, live with the damage and put up with it and make the changes to my life I have done. I chose option B, didn't need to phone a friend or ask the audience on that one, I was too much of a wuss to risk it. Oh, and he said 'even if you have the surgery, you'll still have residual back pain'.......couldn't quite see what I stood to gain!

Well I had plans to be very productive this morning, but I have just spent it flirting with the guy from last night instead.

I am definitely off for a shower now, then gym (then another shower lol, but I really cant leave the house with my hair looking how it does right now!), then clean the kitchen, then the kids are back.
Have a nice afternoon everyone!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

It is n't really, although I am looking forward to the earrings!:o
Hopefully some one will out bid me on the Snails and Cushions!
Was thinking when I am CC debt free to have another set of ear holes done, as a kinda reward? when I am loan free I might think about having a tatoo. Have checked my bank accounts and have enough to pay the dentist which is cool, I swear half of me is really well organised, the other half just flaps for England!Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
