Good luck - some people reckon a face to face is better than a phone call - I will have one or the other coming up soon so cant speak from experience. Hope all goes miles better than you expect:)

Thanks to both of you for the good wishes.

I've already had the 'phone interview in September. This one now is to see whether I get a BRU/BRO. I will. I took out a loan shortly before the bankruptcy and blew the lot. I would feel guilty but it was from the notorious Welcome Finance, with their dubious methods and extremely competitive 69.9% interest rate, so there's a wicked part of me which feels proud to have stitched them up!

Not looking forward to the 3-hour grilling, though!

Good Luck SG ... set yourself the target of beating the 3 hrs and hopefully it will be an awful lot quicker than that.

Hi Sunshine Gal.

I would of prefered a face to face interview, I feel you can explain things in a better way.

My interview over the phone took 1 & half hours, I was just honest with the OR & explained my situation the best I could. The OR was really nice and understanding, & let me tell you my affairs were in a complete mess.

Try to have everything organised in your head & dont worry too much, I did & it was all for nothing. They just want to try to understand your own personal circumstances.

My personal opinion is that the OR`s just want to see if you blew in something like a £10k cruise prior to your Bankruptcy.

Hi there. I was absolutely dreading my F2F, it was 7 months after I went BR, and after the initial 10 mins when I had got myself into a real state....it went fine. After it was all over, I wished I had had a F2F a lot earlier, instead of all the letters and phone calls as I felt it much easier to explain everything in person. Good luck, I am sure you will be fine. I thought I was getting a BRU but I didn't.

and took me through everything step by step
