Fuel Excel spreadsheet.
Options
Hi,
Can anyone point me in the direction of a ready made spreadsheet I can use, or if anyone has the know how (any excel wizkids out there) can show me how to creat one.
I'd like a sheet to contain all the formula's to show costs, total usages, and predicted costs. leaving me with just the job of entering just the variables, unit price, meter readings, dates an stuff.
Any ideas out there?
Thanks :j

Several of us are sad enough to do this. If you search the forym for 'spreadsheet', 'excel' or similar, you should find some options. Start with this one:

Thanks Magentasue. and yes, I'm that sad...heh.
I did try to search for spreadsheet and it came up nil, but then I'm a newbie and not yet used to protocol on this forum..thanks, I'm off to go look at the link.0 -
Don't forget that one of the variables to include is the huge array of varying discounts the various suppliers use e.g. for payment by DD, for accepting paperless billing, for having dual fuel, etc.
You could of course just use the comparison sites in the resource bar above that include all the unit prices and the discounts although admitedly, because of the complexity of some of the discounts (e.g. limited to a certain amount in some cases) even the comparison sites get that wrong sometimes."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
I know what you mean about discounts, Premier, I'm not even aware of how my own account discounts break down into what components..An e-mail is due to my supplier methinks.0
