Wasnt he the leader of the Conservatives?

What sort of freebie are you after? Think I have a bit of this myself but thought there was no remedy.

seriously as ibs is connected very much to stress have you tried doing any type of meditation? also free... :rotfl:
if you are in london there is a centre based in covent garden - sorry cant remember the name near neils yard that holds free meditation sessions (- not associated with any religions) also sells posters, music etc...

also the normal things of avoiding triggering foods like coffee, alcohol, spices etc...

    hope thats of some use...

IBS isn't caused by stress, but stress will aggriavate the problem. so some kind of relaxation techniques may help. combined with diet change.
Some people have found peppermint oil capsules can help, these are available on prescription from your GP. Use alternatives to wheatbran such oat bran and eat more of fruit. There was a coupon for Allisions Oatbran bread in the Sunday express, it must be a new product I've never seen it before.

Experiment, try avoiding bread for a week or so and definately avoid wheatbran/wholewheat products for a week or so. Bread can cause that severe bloating that IBS suffers experience. This doesnt apply to all sufferers's but if it works you will notice a difference in 3/4 days.

Savers sell an alternative to Immodium for 99p same generic drug different brand name. Superdrug aslo have same drug in its superdrug own brand.
Must stop now and get back to work
