Just had a quotation from Anglian for £10,000 for the following:
Windows:
7 x 1730x1000 (with one fixed and two side openers)
6 x 1170x1000 (with one fixed and one side opener)
3 x 600x1000 (with one side opener)
French doors: 1 x 1750x2060
External doors: 3
Is the quote fair? It's more than 50% below the stated 'gross' price.

I`m sure I read a thread on here a while back about a bloke who invited 3 different companies round his house, all at the same time,. told them what he was after and said `whoever can offer me the best price, i`ll go with.. fight it out amongst yourselves`... then left them to it !!
