SOA Help Please - in court on Monday

Hi All,

Please, please can you help, ive adjusted my forms and added on the new bank account and savings account that ive opened with Barclays for post bancrupcy use - but since this was done after i had submitted and printed the forms ive written these in by hand.

Now, i need to change my SOA - the one that i produced on the online form shows my outgoings when i have car related expenses - as i am going to ask for the car to be reposessed then i obviously wont need to pay these things, but will have added train expenses etc.

Is it best for me to remove the page (section 7) void the page and hand write a new one, or leave it as it is and then discuss the amendments with the OR?

Take home average £1075

Rent - £250
Housekeeping - £150
Gas electric etc - £21
Telephone - £37
Travelling to and from work and essential journeys £100
Clothing - £20
Motor Insurance - £39
Road Tax - £18
MOT - £10
Dentist/opticians/prescriptions - £17
Tobacco - £48

Total £710
Leaving £365 excess

But I know that stupid, stupid me ive left our my entertainment allowance and tv licence, and my cineworld monthly pass and probably a million other things.

Can anyone out there help????? What the devil should i do?????

Thanks (a very panicked)

    Rent - £250
    Housekeeping - £150 £250
Gas electric etc - £21 this is incredibly cheap
    Telephone - £37
Travelling to and from work and essential journeys £100 just call this travel
    Clothing - £20
Motor Insurance - £39 do you need your car for work? If not, you won't be able to keep it then you will also lose these expenses.
    Road Tax - £18
    MOT - £10
    Dentist/opticians/prescriptions - £17
Tobacco - £48 not allowed, neither is entertainment however you can put some aside for a modest holiday.

You wouldn't be allowed to include your Cineworld pass on your SOA either. Have a look at the link above and it will give you a better idea of what you can claim then save it for MSE and post it on here for more guidance.

    Hi Five year

Yes, i have already submitted it online so im not sure if i can even change it now.

I have also just noticed that some of the pages have printed out wrong so im going to try and get the old printer working to get them printed off now.

The calculator that i didn on make sense of cards was so old that i couldnt use it to do the forms and stupid me didnt think to re-do them, ive been so het up about it all - also im dyslexic so my sequencing and from filling in capabilities arent that great any ways.

Thanks for your help but do you think i still have time to change them?

They don't look at your SOA when you go to court - that is for the OR to look at. In some courts you have a quick word with him on your BR day to see if there is anything urgent that needs attention and I think they may set your interview date. Tell him what you've done at the earliest time and also make use of your dyslexia if you need to - tell him you were confused or something (please don't take offense but make out that your condition is severe if you need to!)

List everything you can on here and we can help you make a new SOA.

It looks like you'll get a hefty IPA for 36 months but still better than drowning in debt. How come your utilities are so low? Its hard to say what you can salvage as you've already submitted the forms but you need to try something like maybe you pressed submit by mistake because you hadn't looked up your bills properly or something.

    Can anyone else please advise???

Thank you so much Five Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If i knew how to do a thank you smilie i would be on it like a rash!!!

My bills are so low as i live in a shared house and we split gas and electric 3 ways, council tax is paid by the land lord and so are water rates. As the three of us have no financial interest in each other (although we are all friends) i didnt add the total amount as if they ask any questions about my living arrangements then it would all come out anyway.

I am going to tell them that im dyslexic and that i am very concerned that my SOA is showing as with the car expenses etc and will ask if i can submit a new one to the OR when i speak to him/her hopefully after the BR has been approved (of course as long as it is)

I am expecting an IP, my total debts currently cost £710 a month so i am completely insolvent. with over £400 short fall and to be honest i really dont mind an IP - from what ive read with a £300 excess they take 60% which is still a heck of a lot less than i am currently paying and would make life livable again.

Now i have decided i want to add to my declaration so i am going to do that on the follow up sheet for the judge to read - i am expecting the worst and expecting to go see the judge, just because i am a victem of murphy's law.

Thank you for your help Five year!!!
