dont no if any one can help please read below
hi i dont no if you can help atall?? I'm a normal 28 year old male with a wife a 4yr old son and a house with a mortgage I've been working as an artexer ever since i left school and have never been out of work as building trades all-ways been good to me, but 2 years ago i got advised by some one in the trade to take up a mortgage protection insurance and payment protection insurance so i did, the mortgage insurance would cover the whole of my monthly payments and the payment protection would cover all my bills etc so i would be ok if i was out of work, in April 08 i realised for some reason my pay protect had been cancelled my end as an error but i didn't realise until i was going through old paper work in august so i got straight on-line and took the policy up again. Then on December 11Th 08 i got made redundant by my company as work had dried up that bad so i tried to activate my insurances i got the claims forms and didn't really understand them so i asked my old company if they could fill them in for me as they had to fill there bits in about when i was laid off etc, they did that and i got the relevant paper work from the job centre and gave it to my company to send off. All was fine i thought it was all going through then i got a letter through the door saying the pay-protect claim had been declined as i had made a claim within the first 180days of the new policy, so i went through my paper work and found that it wasn't 180 days in was 120 days so i had to send them a copy proving this. they then said they would re asses it i waited then i rung them to find out what was going on they told me it had been declined again as the letter from my company and the dates on the claims form were wrong. So i contacted my dad and asked him what went wrong with the secretary filling out the forms and the mistake was made by the Secretary as she thought it was for another employee that had been laid off in October. I then had to get a letter from my company stating this was a mistake by the company and the actual date i finished work was the same date i applied to sign on with the job centre and that was 11Th December 08. they then said we will re asses this then they came back to me as it had been passed to a claims investigator as my dads signature didn't match another signature of his, so again they were stalling then i here back again asking for a fax of my p45 i send them a copy, then get a call 2days later asking for the original so i post that to them in Ireland, they receive that and i speak to them and they say we are still looking into it so no decision yet. now this has been going on since the 11Th December I've had no income since i left my job I've been signing on every two weeks and don't get a Penny from the job centre as my wife earns 13k a year (and doesn't help with bills etc as has to pay for sons bits and pieces and her own debts she built up) but they don't care about that, I'm having to pay my mortgage by credit card and I'm 6k overdrawn i cant afford to do anything and my house is now at risk and also my marriage as we are so much in debt, i took these insurances out so i would still be able to keep a roof over my family's head if i ran out of work but these company's just have so many excuses I'm on the verge of having to declare myself bankrupt as got no form of income, i didnt think companys were this bad they like your money but dont like paying out, ive had a decision from them now claiming they will not pay out due to small print ect but they never advised me of this when the policys were taken out?? hasEML = false;
