Decided on a Ford Galaxy - now how to get the best price?!
Options
Hi, I posted earlier in the week about our car situation and we have looked around at the various mpv's out there and all but settled on the Ford Galaxy. It's big enough and versatile enough to suit our needs etc.
Now we need to put all of our efforts into finding the newest model possible, with the least mileage within our price range.
I keep hearing and reading that the used car market for big cars/mpv's is a buyers market because most people are snapping up the small economical cars.
So how do we get what we want in our price range? We're looking to spend around £4k but have a 2001 mondeo to trade in. We are looking at cars within that price, but with people saying the market for these cars is on it's bum, should we be looking at higher priced vehicles and expecting to be able to knock the price down?
I mean, how cheeky can we be?!
Also, were' mainly looking on autotrader -is there anywhere else anyone can suggest to look?
Many thanks for reading and thankyou in advance for any replies
