hotels in Cannes, France & Car Hire

just decided to treat myself & booked flights to Nice next monday till Wednesday :j

Can anyone help me with:
1. really nice 4* hotel (in Cannes) at gr8 rates or best websites to get.... (i know laterooms.com)
2. cheapest car hire for 3 days - only need little manual compact car...

Having done this trip myself I would recommend doing a websearch for a 4* in Nice itself as hotel and resteraunt prices there are about 60-70% of Canne prices.

All the resorts down that coast are easily and cheaply reached by train from Nice station as is Monaco etc to the north. Local bus passes are dirt cheap for a week and car hire in Nice is much cheaper than the resort towns .

havent been for about 5 yrs but remember that Cannes was classier than Nice .

also, wanted car to go touring around & monaco etc....

anyway can u rceommend any gr8 hotels?

personally i would stay in Nice and do Cannes by day. try https://www.lastminute.com. I got a very good deal on a 4 star with them last year
