Has anyone got a Prima Mini Deep fat fryer? I need help!

Hello, Does anyone have a Prima Mini Deep Fat Fryer? Its white and yellow.

OH bought it for me for Christmas and I STILL haven't figured out how to use it! I just can't make sense of the instructions - and I have a bag of frozen breaded mushrooms calling to me.

First up it says "take the lid off carefully and raise the food basket securely attaching it to the front of the deep fat fryer" - this seems impossible, there is no way of fixing it anywhere.

Second it doesn't say what to do with the handle. Surely it doesn't just hang out because then the lid won't shut? But it seems really hard to take the handle off and put it back on - I can't see me managing well when its full of hot oil if I can't do it empty!

Please, can anyone help me?

Doesn't the handle just fold down? Haven't got one just guessing.
