Golf charity idea

I have an idea for a golf charity tript but have not done anything similar before so any ideas or advice would be appreciated.

The idea is to play 7 course in 7 countires in 7 days. I have planned the route etc but want to make sure I can maximise the charity income as much as possible.

I have contacted some golf magazines to ask if they will feature the trip but was wondering if anyone has had any joy in getting the following free for charity:

Ferry travel with P & O or DFDS
Petrol
Golf green fees
Hotel Accommodation
Food!

Obvously the more money I can save on the trip the more the 4 of us can give to charity, so plus the sponsorship money we would be looking at raising thousands of pounds.

Any info appreciated.

you could contact the golf clubs in writing explain your misssion and see what they can offer

I had sucess last year with P&0, they gave a free trip to Ireland for a charity event that i was involved with. Contact their Marketing Dept.

Please dont take this the wrong way, but do you have a charity that you already work with and are doing it for them or do you want to do this and find a charity to benefit from it ?

If it is the first and you have current ties you will have a greater chance of getting some backing, if you do not have somehting in place some companies may see it as a jollie, whether the intention is good in the end or not.

Which 7 countries are you talking of ?
