Any paypal/ebay experts clarify exactly how much paypal fees a seller will be charged to accept a payment of £1200 .
Buyer will use a credit card to pay through paypal.

Is it the usual 3.4% +20p or are there different fees for ebay motors?

Don't panic folks.... like I said, it is all above suspicion .... buyer is related to wifes family and I have known him for years.
He's offered to pay Paypal fees if I let him use CC via paypal, but not being a regular on ebay I would want to quote the correct figure ... so .........
Anybody know how much fees are attached to a £1200 selling price.
thanks for all the concern - if it was a normal punter then no probs ... cash or bank draft [I'm not that daft ]Learn to laugh at yourself ... everyone else has:rotfl:

I believe a CC chq will be cheaper as they charge around 3% so it would cost £36 in charges. He only has to ask his CC supplier for a few chqs.Could even be less.TO FINISH LAST, FIRST YOU HAVE TO FINISH....0
