I wonder if this is at Manager's discretion. I rarely find a much reduced item in the Wood Green store, yet do okay in Asda and Sainsburys.

My local Morrisons clear near-dated items, at rediculous prices, in the last hour before closing.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I always go Monday morning that's when my morrisons reduce all the veg ready for the new stuff. I take my luncheon vouchers from a survey site I do then I go home with huge bags of sprouts 50p/ 10 grapefruit £1/ huge bage apples 50p etc I often have to give some to neighbours as can only eat/freeze so much. The veg is in the veg section at my store also often lovely flowers for 50p and sometimes plants too.

  • Nothing so good at my Morrisons. They do reduce stuff near end date but never by enough (IMHO!)

Mine is the same, they take about 20p off things, even the stuff that is on bogof, so it is actually cheaper to buy the longer date stuff in the promotion than to buy the reduced near date stuff!!
