Can I force executor to sell house?

Hi
Not sure if this is the right place to post?!
My gran died just over 2 years ago. There are 4 beneficiaries to her will, all siblings, one of whom is the executor.
The executor of the will took my gran's house off the market in around October last year and keeps making excuses as to why she will not put it back up for sale.
Is there anyway any of the other beneficiaries can do anything about getting the house put back up for sale or auction?
We just want to see an end to it now and the longer the house is empty the harder it is going to be to sell?
Any advice would be much appreciated!
Thanks.

Legal advice needed - get a free half hour somewhere. You need to get the other beneficiaries to the house to support you.
They might be responsible for any loss in value by causing the delay- but you need to hear that from a legal eagle.0 -
The executer is entrusted by the deceased to carry out the disposal of the deceased estate to the beneficiaries.
We sometimes talk about the executors year.
This just means that until one year has passed you can't really expect an estate to be wound up except in straightforward cases................................I have put my clock back....... Kcolc ym0 -
Crazy situation - house dropping in value and getting harder to sell. I imagine there are also ongoing bills.
I'm no expert but there does seem to be a legal remedy.

Maybe try a free initial consultation with some solicitors? Good luck.0 -
Is the house definitely in the will.
Has the land registry been checked to ensure that it was solely in your grans name.I am a LandLord,(under review) so there!:p0 -
Yes you can force the Executor to sell. Speak to the Solicitor dealing with the probate.0
