Hi i have just have an item written off by the big C and was told to go and get a replacement which i have done.

The quiry is when the faulty item came it was damage so i phoned them and they refunded the delivery charge £30
But the reciept still shown the full price. £156

My question is when i purchased a replacement £189 the outstanding balance that was aked for was £33 which i paid.

But the true balance should have been £63, Can they come back at a later date and ask for the £30?
Views on this please.

First item cost £156 then £30 was refunded over the phone.
    The receipt states £156
The replacement item cost £189 we showed the store the £156 reciept and paid the £33 balance they asked for.

But do to the first refund the final balance should have been £63.
Can the store ask for this when they notice the mistake?

If this has not been noticed at point of sale i doubt it will now, but as they have confirmed the prices, i believe you cannot be chased for payment. To tell you the truth they probably make alot more profit than that so it won't be worthwhile.

'Big C' is a euphemism for cancer.

That's what I thought. So this post must be discussing the trading/purchasing of body parts.

There must be some rule about that.

It couldn't have been a very important body part if it only cost £153.
