I had already posted a topic a while go regarding repaires that were needing done to my house, to cut a long story short the landlord and letting agency still have not done these. i have written out a letter which i intend to send to both of them but was wonderin if anyone minded reading through it first for me to make sure that i have wrote it correctly.
Dear landlord
Re: Request for repairs at
I am writing to inform you of some repair work that needs to be carried out at the property above, which I am currently renting from you.
The hot water tap in the bathroom is not working and has not been working since I took on the tenancy on the 11th Febuary 2008. I am currently unable to use sink so becomes a health issue as unable to wash unless I use the bath/shower every day
i have noticed that the sink in the kitchen is also leaking, I am having to clean up the water every other day
The boiler in the boiler cupboard is starting to scorch (has burn marks on the foam jacket). This makes me worried as it would be a potential fire hazard
I'd be most grateful if you could contact me as soon as possible to arrange a time for the repair work to be carried out.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours sincerely,
contact telephone number:
is there anything else i should add or reword? any help would be appricated before i send it off
thanks:o
