Hi Guys
I'm looking at buying one of these from ebuyer and had what I hope is a fairly easy question.
How easy would it be to install the TomTom software onto it as the pre-installed stuff is a bit naff?

If you look at the Reviews of the product on the Ebuyer site, you'll find step-by-step instructions on how to install TomTom software on it.
Doesn't look terribly hard, but note the comment:
"Ebuyer comment - We cannot endorse the hacking of the unit with other software but instructions on how this can be done are available at thepctailor.com"
I suspect that if you hack it and it then fails, the warranty would probably be void, but that's a risk that many people could prob live with...0 -
did just the same thing my self.
There is no real hacking involved, only changes are made to the SD card. So make a backup first.
