  • my advice is make sure you check everything before committing to contract. my experience is that these people will say and do anything to get you to complete, with lying or omitting the truth also an option.

    we found it easy to run the pipework etc at floor level, so in the plinth space, saves all the cutting of the back edges of the base units, just bring the pipes up through the base of the unit, very neat, and much more space in the cupboards.

    that will depend on how careful/careless you are.
    we have had beech block tops for 21 years now and have only needed to refinish them 3 times. when done , they look like new again.

    they are easy to cut to size and to shape and join, and the plus point for me is that they CAN be refinished.
