knock down wall, RSJ and plastering

Hi all

I have a small kitchen and would like to remove the supporting wall and create a kitchen diner

I've had a structual engineer in who is in the process of working out the size of the RSJ required

I've had a quote from a builder for the following
  • Prop wall at ceiling height
  • remove wall and insert concrete padstones and steel
  • plasterboard ceilings
  • double plasterboard steel to meet regs
  • make good all electrical chases
  • plaster ceilings and walls (mostly skim)
It doesn't include the price of the steel

I live in the surrey/hants area

Is this quote about right?

Thanks !!
