I can't be @rsed to read all of that tonight, could you read it for me?Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0

I work in Intellectual Property but I have never heard of any infringement of rights re images on a credit card
in fact it would be a good advertising tool0 -

but surely the card issuer would need to get permission for every logo used on a card? They can't assume the copyright owner would be happy.....
of course, what I am saying is why has it not been used as an advertising/promotion tool - perhaps that would be a way for credit card companies/banks to make some profits while helping small businesses such as software, clothing etc etc
just a thought0 -

Not a bad thought in theory, more an idea for debit cards than credit I would expect. With credits there are a lot of exceptions you'd have to make
You'd need to exclude any child/young-mid-teen friendly brands. If Hooch can be all but (if not actually) destroyed because of their cartoony characters appealing to children earning them bad PR I don't think at the moment a credit card with branding appealing to kids would be the best idea for any bank.
You'd need to exclude any gambling as a field as well. As they count as cash transactions and not purchases. (They would have to be excluded from debit cards for U18s as well)
Financial institutions for obvious reasons.0
