How difficult is it and if we have to employ someone how expensive?

It's easy with the correct kit.
tile removal
You will need an sds drill with rotor stop-
sds drill with roto stop
and a chisel-
cheap sds chisel
or-
expensive sds chisel
dust masks
safety goggles
gloves
It's not difficult with the right kit, but it will make a mess.
I forgot to add ear protectors and knee pads to the list above.
You might be better off ringing a few local tilers for a price and work out what suits you best!0
