OS wedding list

I'm getting married next year and people are starting to hassle us about getting a wedding list put together.
I've already got:
Yoghurt maker
Blender
Ice cream maker
Breadmaker
What other OS style (or not so OS) things do you lot think I could do with/you find invaluable? My Doctor told me that "1 out of 3 people who start smoking will eventually die." The other two apparently became immortal.

Do you bake?
Do you have the basic essentials, both for baking and general use? Trays, etc?
Slowcooker! - my mum just bought me one (for Christmas!) - that just shows you the effect you people are having on me!
I like the steamer that we have.
I'm sure there will be a lot more experience O/S'ers along with advice!0 -
I do bake and I have my baking sheets etc.
My OH hates slow cookers with a passion and refuses to allow one in the house! My Doctor told me that "1 out of 3 people who start smoking will eventually die." The other two apparently became immortal.

Hey Mirakl, when I got married many moons ago *shuddering* we were setting up house and so asked for Argos vouchers - boring but it meant we could get all those big things u need.
Thomas Cook vouchers is another one I know people have done so you can have a killer holiday/honeymoon
Slow cooker would get my vote and I use my steamer all the time, other than that you seem pretty kitted out - oh, how about some of them Lock n Lock storage boxes everyone is raving about?
But really vouchers means u get something you really want or need and dont end up looking at a pile of junk - the people who DIDN'T get us vouchers were the ones who got us a carriage clock from the pound shopComps £2016 in 2016 - 1 wins = £530 26.2%

Hi Mirakl
Have you got any special jam making thing? You know, like the big special saucepan, jam funnel and thermometer?
What about a pressure cooker?
I think perhaps you could put a yoghurt maker and some of the other things you already have down on your list anyway - things never last forever. Just a thought really.
What about a stick blender? I have one, it's fantastic, a doddle to use, wash and store and a lot less faffing about than a normal jug type one.
Kitchen scales - the most consistently accurate and longest lasting ones are (apparently) those old-fashioned ones that are like a seesaw with weights on one end. They would last a lifetime - that would be fabulous, to still be using something given to you for your wedding when you're celebrating your 40th anniversary. Oops sorry, don't mean to start premature greying!!0 -
Have an icecream maker....honestly have to say that we don't use it.
Have a breadmaker....couldn't part me with it (unless its for a brand new more expensive with more functions breadmaker.....note if my partner is reading this that means the Panasonic one please).
If you have baking sheets, what about a variety of other shaped tins and what-have-you. Eg, Flan tins, loaf tins, dishes for pies, lasagne, pasta bakes etc..... You sure you have everything you need on that front?
I'm building up (very slowly cos its expensive) a set of denby for our daily use. That would be one thing that I'd stick on my list.
A stick blender is already on my Xmas list (baby on the way and I'm determined that when the time comes we will introduce it to our own foods)Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

My mother had two presents for her wedding that she still uses now some 40 years on, and would not be without.
1. A mincer,
2. A mouligrater.
We did not do the traditional list thing when we got married because as you, we already had many of the things we wanted. It would be nice though to be able to look back on those gifts and appreciate them, and the thought behind them as my mother can.
At the time she got married she appreciated neither!!!I had a plan..........its here somewhere.0 -
A mincer....memories.....my nan had one of these that attached to a table and then you turned the handle. She used it all the time......for making breadcrumbs.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move
