Hi
I am a Non-resident of the UK for tax purposes. i.e. I am not in the country more than 90 days a year and have not been for the last 6 years.
I would ideally like to consider semi retirement in the next 7-10 years.
I will have a surplus of around £50K a year that I can invest for the next 7 years and would then like the interest from this to support me in my early retirement.
My early retirement would be spent mostly in Spain.
Any ideas what would be the best place to invest and what sort of yearly return I could expect from my investment after the 7 years. I would like to spread it over medium or medium / low risk investments with the option of some invested in partial higher risk.
Also would I be better putting part of the investment into a short term pension fund.
