Tesco Club Card deals - minimum £500?

I have £60 in vouchers, now these could be worth £240 in clubcard deals.

Browsing the deals it looks like the minimum order has to be £500 or more. I'm not sure how it works.

Does it mean that if the order value is £520, the deals are worth £240 so I have to pay £280 in cash?

I want to go to the south of France for a weeks holiday, would it be best to book through French life or is the Eurostar to Paris the best deal?

In summer the Eurostar goes direct to Avignon, I'm thinking of going off peak in June, is Avignon covered by the deals?

  • I think it means that the value of the holiday has to be over £500 and you can add as few or as many Tesco vouchers to that sum .
    So £50 of vouchers=£200 + £300 cash.
  • To use clubcard deals you need to book a holiday for £500 or more. With French Life and Cresta this has to be a package which incldes travel (ferries, planes or eurostar) and accommodation. Youcan pay cash forthe remainingbalance. Might beworth holding onto your vouchers until the next lot come out then you can put more towards your holiday.
Don'tknowabout Eurostar/Avignon, give them a ring and ask.

The eurostar is a maximum fare of £99, and availability is more off peak, I think it is unlikely that the direct Avignon service is likely to be included.
I'll have a look at the french companies websites, but I think the deals are only on brochure prices.
