Don't forget Rpoints too. You get through to the American site, but then look for links to UK site. Any extra helps. I agree that it will probably be cheaper in January, even though I bought some myself last week. Superb company to deal with. The first time I installed a card myself, I had problems, and they they talked me through until it was sorted.

Help!
I have no idea what memory is appropriate for my PC. I bought my PC from a local company, so the "crucial memory advisor" is of no use to me. I can't find anything within the control panel on XP which gives me details about motherboard or the RAM currently on there (other than it's 256mb).
Anyone got any advice on where I can find this info on my PC?

Just to add that I've used them many times and can heartily recommend them. Always received my orders next day - but as they use Royal Mail Special Delivery it may take a few days at this time of year.

I can also see their UK facility from my house.

Cheers...i used to build PC's are crucial memory is one of if the best you can buy.....

i would disagree that Special Delivery takes a few days...i use it about 10 times a week...it has been changed in the last 2 weeks...

it used to be compensation of up to 250.00 and delivery by 12:00 midday next day

now it is compo to 500 and delivery by 13:00 next day...

if they dont deliver before 13:00 you get your money back as unlike all other services the RM offer it is guaranteed service

and yes they dont deliver sometimes and i do claim back

Been after PC2700 Sodimm memory for a while. Seemingly 512mb are only down a tenner from a few months ago, currently at £60 after VAT. I'll wait it out a little longer.
