Hi
Can anybody recommend a system to treat my fence panels with.
I am sick of using a brush, takes me ages.
A friend got a spray system but says it is no good.
Any good systems out there ?

My son in law used the spray system and agrees with your friend.
Use a wider brush !!I'm Glad to be here... At my age I'm glad to be anywhere!!
I'm not losing my hair... I'm getting more head!!0 -
I'm afraid you'll have to get the brush out mate. But avoid cheap thin watery stuff and you won't have to do it again for years. I treated mine with Cuprinol Garden Shades. It's expensive because it is more for garden furniture than fences, it's like a thin paint, but has lasted 5 years so far and still looks good. Look out for it on offer.0

Would this be the same sort of stuff you treat sheds with?
I've got a new one which has had a factory base-coat treatment but I need to give it another proper treatment apparently, only I'm confused by all the different products available

Cheap and cheerful it does the job a lot quicker than i did when using a brush. I also use it for sealing the decking but you do have to make sure you clean it up well after every use.0 -
might be worth renting a compressor and aspray gun from a tool hire place if you have a large area to doIf it doesnt pay rent sell it.

I used one of the contrapions that is used for spraying weeds where you pump it up first to get pressure then spray it and it worked a treat. It takes a bit of practive to get the spread even, but even done badly it looks fine.Nice to save.0
