Cheap (but quality) carpet and/or laminate flooring

Does anywhere know where I can get cheap-ish carpets? I am moving into a new flat and I have received a ridiculous quote (the carpet seemed cheap enough but once fitting/grippers etc. were added it was just silly). In the Manchester area if that helps! Please let me know
