can someone help please
The Barclays Monthly Savings account pays a fixed 6% AER for twelve months. I would like to save approx £150 per month. would this be better than in a isa account (from any bank or bs)
also Barclays say open in branch as I dont have an account, but do you think if I opened an e-savings acc 1st it would then let me open the monthly savings account.

Do you know of an ISA that pays more than 4.8%? If not and you are a standard rare tax payer then take the Barclays account.
I would think your other plan is more effort than going into a branch to open the Monthly Saver.0
