Horrible day out, so haven't been anywhere and have resisted all temptation to spend on the Internet. Pay day in a week tomorrow, so another quiet week will do the treat. Have £9 in cash on me, apart from petrol, that should see me through.
Good news on my savings target, I my cheque from my recent (risk-free may I add) casino winnings cleared in my bank account. Almost £400... :j ...and makes a massive contribution to my savings target. However, my joy has been kind of dented by being told that my expected rise in work isn't going to happen, as least for now anyway.
Ah well, still happy. I will update my signature once everything is confirmed, transferred and all that gubbins. Have a good week everyone...
PS. By the way, anyone going to me enjoying all the Chapion League football this week? My team have gone (Manchester United... alright, I here the boos) but am still expecting some fantastic ties.Personal ISA Contributions Challenge - current £0 (as at 1 April 2014) / target £15,000 (deadline 31 Mar 2015)0 -
£1.49 on a growbag to grow some potatoes(I was given the seed potatoes)
I'm just about to go to my local shop to buy a paper and some unsalted butter for a cake I'm making later. So just over £3.00 in total.
(I was generous and gave my OH £5.00 for a drop of petrol for tomorrow)
A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.

Nothing today…just a quiet day in pottering about and a little browsing on here. Started the planning for DIY’ing the office room, wall paper, nice glossy white wood paint and so on…
but it mainly it needs a new carpet. I shall search high and low for a good quality MSE Old Style bargain but I will need to hone up my Haggling skills – hee hee.
