Manchester Hotels

Anyone know any (inexpensive) hotels near to Sankeys in Manchester? Not Travelodge.

Cheers

Why bother with Hotels? Either end up at some girls house or a gentlemens club and save costs :D

I've stayed here before & it's fine. Not luxury - but neither is it luxury prices.
  • depends how much you wanted to spend, but i'd recommend renting out an apartment instead.

go on laterooms.com or booking.com and have a search for apartments in manchester.

you can book them for a night or two and for some you dont have to check out until later than you would in a hotel. some start from about 50quid for a decent apartment and then you can pay 500 for a penthouse or whatever, depens what you wanna spend and when you wanna go!

Skyline Central apartments on booking.com is perfect location for sankeys. for a sat night for luxury apartment check in sat afternoon from 2, check out next day at 12. Swimming pool and gym on top floor. 115 quid. dont think theres any restrictions on how many share a room either.

ps. that castlefield one is on the other side of town to sankeys. have a look for ones on ancoats/northern quarter or even piccadilly side for best/walkable to centre AND sankeys

Thanks for the help - it's for DS and 2 mates looking to share a room. TL has no family rooms but would otherwise have been fine. Apartments are coming up quite pricey - all way over £100.

    Even The Place? http://www.theplacehotel.com/
Which date are you looking for?

If the people going aren't familiar with the city centre, I would still recommend getting a taxi to Sankeys as it's down a rabbit warren of back streets and you can easily get lost if you don't know the way.

Cheers blue, didn't see your reply..

There are 5 lads now, just need beds and shower for what's left of the night;). They are trying to get near as possible to the venue as they would rather not walk around at that time. An awkward number for rooms and taxis.
