Where can i buy a Quality BT Telephone?

    Before you start looking, I think you ought to realise that BT do not actually make telephones - they have manufacturers 'badge' them with the BT logo and then sell them on.

    Many companies do this. For example, have a close look at THESE 'C&W' twin DECT/TAMs and compare them with THESE 'NTL' twin DECT/TAMs.

    Apart from the colour and the logos, they're the same!
    Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.
