IFA Trail Commission

I have a major problem with the Fund based trail commission claimed by IFA's. Most of them do not earn their corn in this area and it is really money for virtually no work.

I would like to start a campaign to cancel all trail commission claimed by IFA'a and make them earn their money fairly.

Most IFA's do not have a clue about investment and do not deserve any trail commission as they do not provide an adsequate service.

Does anybody agree?

Given that the so called experts have got us into the mess we are in I would prefer to use my own judgement when making decisions about my own financial security.

So nice of you to make judgements of most IFAs when you havent got any experience of most IFAs.

If you dont want to use an IFA then dont use one. That way you dont have to worry if they are paid or not. And why focus on IFAs and not the other adviser groups or the firms themselves that keep it when no adviser is used? Perhaps its a chip on your shoulder or perhaps another new login for a recently banned person trying to troll.

If you don't want to use an IFA why not buy through an execution only broker who will refund part of the trail commission.

Wow, registered today, and first post is an attack on IFA's. I smell something fishy, and I'm not talking about the contents of Baldricks apple crumble. Yes I too suspect a previously banned member. Right I'm off for a cup of Earl grey

Or get most of the IFA's typical 3% commission back by using Cavendish Online

That's initial commission not trail commission.

Get most (sometimes all) initial commission discounted AND trail commission shared by Chartwell.
