Since reinstalling my laptop, running Vista, I am unable to send a Word 2007 document as an email attachment. It worked perfectly before. I am using IE7 and Windows Live Mail email programme. The email I use is gmail.
Receiving following error message - Log on failed. You must log on to Microsoft Exchange to access your address book. Error code 'unspecified error'.
When I try to log out of the word document, receive message as follows - Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfil the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Office Outlook and set it as the default mail client.
I can use Live Mail to receive and send emails, it just seems to be when clicking send from Word 2007.
Can anyone please sort me out?
Much appreciated

Can you not just save the file to your desktop/hard drive and send as an attachment?:idea:0

In Internet Explorer - Tools/Options , then the tab marked programs and see what is set as your email client0

Thank you for your replies.
The programme will let me save document to desktop and send attachment that way. Thanks very much for advice. It does seem a little more clicking than used to be necessary when sending from Word. Thank you alienrik.
TonyMMM - when I choose Tools, Internet Explorer, Programmes, the bottom options asks that I set default programmes but when I choose Live Mail, it doesn't seem to hold the settings.
Any further advice please on anything else I can do.0
