Does anyone know of a reputable site where I can get tickets to the following:
Phantom Of The Opera
Wicked The Musical
Les Miserables
Sunset Boulevard
Chicago
for a discount price? Especially Wicked, I adore it and go to see it a lot :rotfl:
Thanks!

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. most of them appear on www.broadwaybox.com/london reguarly, (go to london discounts) also some may be on www.theboxoffice.com (see tickets discount arm) www.lastminute.com is also quite good for these
they are also on the TKTS booth in leicester square often as well,
you may not be able to get discount boulevard tickets though as its still new on broadway and wicked is a crowd puller too
ref chicago, that tours reguarly so you may find that its cheaper to wait till it goes on tour to a venue near you.MFW#105 - 2015 Overpaid £8095 / 2016 Overpaid £6983.24 / 2017 Overpaid £3583.12 / 2018 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2019 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2020 Overpaid £2583.12/ 2021 overpaid £1506.82 /2022 Overpaid £2975.28 / 2023 Overpaid £2677.30 / 2024 Overpaid £2173.61 Total OP since mortgage started in 2015 = £37,286.86 2025 MFW target £1700, payments to date at April 2025 - £1712.07..0 -
Try here: http://www.whatsonstage.com/index.php?pg=228
for some good offers.
I use lastminute most of all, or TKTS booth in Leicester square, but that has to be on the day.0 -
You'll get a deal on Chicago in the West End easily enough.
thats definatly true, however if you dont live in london, like me, you have to factor in travelling costs, hotel if needed, food in london etc,
which is why if a show is touring would rather pay £30-£40 to see on tour than pay for example £20 on a west end ticket, but still have to pay £10-20 to get to london, plus £80 for a hotel etc if its an evening show and not a matinee etc. I would rather see a show on tour and then pay the costs to go to london to see something that has no plans to tour.MFW#105 - 2015 Overpaid £8095 / 2016 Overpaid £6983.24 / 2017 Overpaid £3583.12 / 2018 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2019 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2020 Overpaid £2583.12/ 2021 overpaid £1506.82 /2022 Overpaid £2975.28 / 2023 Overpaid £2677.30 / 2024 Overpaid £2173.61 Total OP since mortgage started in 2015 = £37,286.86 2025 MFW target £1700, payments to date at April 2025 - £1712.07..0 -
A great place to go for current discounts to London shows, where to buy and the best seats to get is www.theatremonkey.co.uk. It will also give you directions to all the theatres as well as reviews for shows.0

The Telegraph is currently running an offer for 'two for the price of one' on tickets for a number of West End shows including Chicago, Sunset Boulevard and Les Miserables0

Sure, I get that. Although one also has to consider that tours are almost always scaled down, lower budget versions of the original West End productions and so I also get why people want to see the shows in London too. And I speak as someone who has worked on a lot of those UK Tours and a good many Productions so I know where the corners get cut on these shows when they hit the road. On the other hand there isn't anything particularly grand about Chicago in the West End these days and I wouldn't necessarily make it my first choice if looking for a London based show to pay out for. I have to say most shows that are a success in London do eventually make it out on the road in some form or another.Yeah, whatever. I'm a grown up, I can take it...0
