consumer rights advice please

I recently bought new specs but am unable to get on with them, can anyone advise me as to my rights for alterations please ? The prescription has been checked by a different company but the sight is wrong still when wearing them, Appreciate any advice please Nikki

    Have yo taken them back to where you got them from and asked what they can do?
    If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

    You say the prescription has been checked.
    Did that shop re-test your eyes or just check that the glasses are of the strength that the first optician said you needed?
