Business Bank Account Recommendations?

Following a spate of redundancies my husband and I have decided to be brave and set up business on our own. Can anyone recommend a value for money Business Bank Account with good service and online banking facility?

What sort of business are you going to be running? What will you be dealing in primarily - cash, cheque, transfers, cards, etc?

Abbey offer free business banking but the service is dire. It suits my business as I mostly bank online.

Thanks Olly300 - new to the site so didn't spot it!

Barclays... business services, mainly dealing with incoming bank transfers and cheques. Outgoing transfers and cheques. Not much cash involved. Some income from the USA, and online banking a bonus.

I have posted this before and I will repeat it again - DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH ABBEY !! We have had nothing but trouble over last 2 years and for last 3 months have not been able to access our statements on line. Do they care? No. So given up and moving account.
