    You start here:

Many of the accounts in this section apply to "joint back accounts". You'd have to go to each bank's website to see if that particular deal is offered to people with joint backs.
You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.

Is this for a joint saving or a joint current?
Me and my partner and now living and working together and I've been put in charge of the finances but thought it would be a bit fairer to at least make it a joint account so he feels like he has some say in how many shoes I buy :rotfl:

An account in a different place to both your current banks can give some protection to both of you should things go wrong.

Use the joint account for the joint things and seperate accounts for personal spends is an option that a lot of people use, avoids the shoe/boystoys issue.

When we moved in together last year we set up a joint account with Alliance and Leicester. It comes with a joined savings account which is easy to transfer in and out of. we use the joint account for rent bills and food and eating out or treats that we are both having and household items. All personal spends come out of our own current accounts. Anything left at the end of the month goes into the joint savings account for holidays and other big joint spends.
