Thanks to OP - got one of the 6.36 megapixel variety from Somerfield Chesterfield for £34.99. None of the stores in Sheffield had them but Chesterfield had about 30 behind the kiosk along with about 6 of the Medion ones.
Got a 512Mb SD card from Pricestorm for £18.68 inc delivery - absolutely delighted!

SD card works as expected - Kingston was the one I chose from Pricestorm but they have plenty of other makes. P&P was cheap and it came within 3 days of orderCome on you Red and White Wizzaaaards!0

I got one of these 6MP cameras from the Sommerfield in Paisley when they were £50 [the clearence store for quite a few areas in Scotland].
Build quality was good however I was not impressed at all with the image quality, especially for a 6MP camera that they were claiming cost £100 originally!
There was a lot of pixellation [probably due to high JPG compression] and in my test pictures the subject that should have been in focus was not.
If you are looking for one to take running or something that another poster suggested, then at £40 go for it. However for use as a main camera I'd suggest spending a bit more and getting a better model.
Of course, I could just have had a dodgy camera.....
I ended up returning it for a refund.
