  • hi op - if the case has been nging it can take a while for a breakdown to be completed as archived data may need to be ordered t give details of payments received etc.
Not a very good excuse - they should have had all the information at their fingertips in order to be able to make an accurate calculation of the arrears ... ooops ... I've fallen into the classic trap - I've assumed that arrears are actually calculated rather than produced by a random number generator.

Silly me, I should take more notice of my own posts. :o

The gestapo are paid huge amounts of money by taxpayers to do their jobs properly. They utterly fail in that one simple task. They mainly make excuses for failing to do their jobs and you quoted one of them.

Clearly I wasn't claiming that you made the excuse personally, but, saying that it is just the way it is, is simply not good enough.

would love to know where you get ure info the ppl who work for the csa are paid hugh amounts of money!!!!
    Most are on min wage

Clearly I was just explaining why a callback would take a while as it takes a lot of time for these to be calculated. As i stated in an ideal world clerical breakdowns wouldn't have to be completed as the computer system would calculate these 'at the click of a button' however this simply isn't the case in reality.

I find your manner to be extremely rude and not very helpful at all.

Blimey, try sending an email via their website which is meant to be for complaints asking for a call back. Everytime I have done this I have had a call back and within a few days. One was the morning after the night before (ooh err!) I had sent the email.

You won't be getting one then. As LoopyGirl says, email them via their website (you get evidence of your email).

If you read my post carefully, you will find that I didn't mention individuals in the organisation at all. I mentioned the organisation which IS paid huge amounts of money for what is, essentially, being the most slipshod and inefficient part of the entire tottering government edifice. I am well aware of civil service pay rates - I was one once.

Which sums up exactly what I was on about. The computer system cost taxpayers over £450m and it cannot even calculate 15% of a salaried person's salary on a regular basis.

I guess I'll have to struggle on, tears in my eyes, knowing that ;)
