How long Does It takes CSA to Return A Phone call?

It took them 12 years to send a letter, seems like my solictor might have to wait just as long for the CSA to ring him back and provide a break-down of the arrears.

Con Support Agency seem very adapt at avoiding issues. They get liability orders by telling you need not attend, then the courts get 8% interest and everyone is a winner.

trouble is they should work from a calculator
its very simple.

Also, the most basic info they have problems with. My daughter was born 1986 not 1996.

if they cannot get the basics right, how does anyone expect the figures to be correct?

Why are you employing a solicitor so the CSA can supply a complete account breakdown?

Your MP could have helped you out there.

As for phoning back, don't bank on it. But there is the parliamentary hotline the MP's assistant can use. I guarantee you will get a call back from them.

Because they have got so many things wrong?? They have not supplied a breakdown, just a very basic this is what you owe. They were supposed to provide a breakdown before the Lo hearing to me, they didn't.

I was hoping a solicitor could get it moving. I cannot wait weeks for an MP to get involved. The LO has been served.

Typical of them.

But this is where you are wrong regarding the MP. The MP would have got it quicker for you free of charge too because the CSA pri*ck up their ears once the MP becomes involved.

What is the time limit your solicitor has set them to reply? I would phone up MP on Monday morning and speak with their assistant.

Well, 3 days have gone by.

I suspect they are trying to add up properly.:rotfl:

In all seriousness, may use the MP route but as the solicitor is trying to get a response, they cannot say I am not trying to contact them or evade

They already should have a account breakdown if your arrears are over £10,000. If its less then it usually takes about a week f your case officer kinows what they are doing.
Where did you get the 8% interest from. My understanding is the magistrates charge csa fees of £40-£50 court costs, but the csa do not charge nrp's this at present, as it woul be inappropriate whilst maintenance is still outstanding.
  • The answer to the original question "How long does it take the CSA to return a phone call" is:-

"As long as it takes them to make up a lot of lies and threats and teach the semi-trained chimp on the end of the phone to learn the lines and be able to regurgitate them."

One question from me. Why are you on the phone to the gestapo at all?

Their mantra is "Lie, Deny and Falsify" and no-one should forget it. If you make them put everything in writing, it cuts down on their ability to do that.

Don;t know why but it was granted in the magistrates court, but LO was posted by a County Court.

Don't know why to be honest. Maybe its the 8% a year interest for the county court?
