i've had this before, and bought the replacements at the cheaper price then returned the originals at the higher price.0

Do they have them online? You could order them , might even be some discount codes about, and 4% on Quidco. Then take the more expensive ones back to the store.Booo!!!0

safer to buy more dresses at the sale price then return the full price ones."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0

Buy the ones on sale, then return the original ones for your refund.
I did this with my shoes for my daughter's wedding. I bought them and 2 weeks later they were reduced. I went in with my daughter who picked up the reduced pair and gave me the nod that she had them and only then did I return the original ones for a full refund. 33% savings!
If they don't have your dresses in the correct sizes, then you can try for they discount as other posters have suggested.0 -
Have you got the receipt for the dresses you've bought? There shouldn't be any problem with doing that, the 80pound is better in your pocket than theirs!0

Well i called their customer service dept yesterday and explained that i would have waited another few days to buy the dresses etc and could i return the dresses and buy them straight back at the sale price. The lady said that this should not be a problem but she would put me through to my local Debenhams to see. She put me through, the other lady i spoke to asked her supervisor and said yes no problem so i took them back today and was refunded £85 no problem .
The lady that refunded my money said she would have took them back anyway without me having to call them so a big thumbs up to Debenhams :T.
Thank you for all the advice girls, im usually quite shy in these situations but your advice helped.0 -

Good result bubbles35 that is good of them to do that, sure the money youve saved will soon get swallowed up somewhere else though.Booo!!!0

Thanks girls!
Violette you are so right that it will be swallowed up elsewhere, so much to do and pay .
It will probably be spent back in Debenhams on shoes or underwear or something else to do with the wedding .0 -
