Microfibre Cloths

Worth also looking in Poundland for the dusters and dishtowels - they turn up there from time to time.
I've also purchased similar soft microfibre towels from ebay (seller is splaasssh) they are 60 x 120 and are great for when kids have swimming at school, means the kids don't have to carry another bulky bag to school. They are a joy to wash as they dry almost immediately.0 -
First purchased the microfibre cloths in Tenerife about 6 years ago and paid about £8 for 4. Now Tescos do a pack of 3 value cloths in white for 99p. We use them for everything. The only cleaner I use are Bleach for Loos, and Antibacteria for the kitchen worktops. If we can't get the cloths 100% clean they are used for the car and then I just buy more. They certainly take the hard work out of windows and no more smears is a bonus. Amen to that!0

What temperature do you wash your microfibre clothes at? My first cloth was bought on holiday in Canada, and is specifically for glass and stainless steel and can be washed at 90, it's fantastic.
But I recently bought a three pack of them from Woolworths, and the label says to wash at 60, which I don't think would be hot enough to get them clean, especially the ones used in bathroom and kitchen..??"Then, when every last cent

Hi Tallulah, I wash all cloths on the 90 wash, as I agree, anything less won't kill the germs. My washing machine only goes up to 90 anyway. I have had an old fashoined boil up in a saucepan that I keep for the job, but it is a bit of a nuisance, and it always manages to boil over when I am not looking!! I haven't had a cloth shrivell up on me yet.0

nearlyrich wrote:Currently you can get 2 for 99p in TescoI have used them for years and I swear by them...no longer buy kitchen cleaners etc as they are not necessary with these cloths.
Now 48p for the pair0 -
I have been using these cloths for years, I wring one out in water with vinegar and use it to wipe all the dust off furniture, a dry one will buff up most things. I also use a damp one to clean the laminate floor in the living room and then buff it up with a dry coth. My daughter uses them too my grand daughter has asthma and her room gets cleaned every day, she is allergic to dust mites.
I wash them on a 60 wash unless its a white cloth which I do at 90.
My husband uses the old ones on the car, they are brilliant for doing the dash board, windows etc.

They are amazing 1sttimer. I suggest you try a mirror first...just use a damp micro fibre cloth and wipe over it then buff it up with a dry cloth. I couldn't believe the results the first time I tried it.
