Best places to go in Goa

2 of us are going to goa next month. The first places I've found is 1.5km from Anjuna beach.
We want somewhere relaxing and beautiful. Away from all the ravers!

Can anyone recommend others areas to go? I've heard Palolem beach is meant to be the best?

You'll find everything you need to know on those 2 sites, including whether the North or South will suit you best, tips on applying for your visas, places to eat, trips to do etc.

When booking your accommodation, do read the reviews carefully.
If you've not been to Goa before, some of the hotels can be very basic.

If you want small, private, quiet luxury hotel try http://www.coconutgrovegoa.com/

half board, eat at beach hut in evening

get taxis everywhere

and don't get stung at airport
helpers will grab your luggage and put it on trolley, then ask for £1 - push it yourself
and the loo attendents will similarly ask for donations - don't blame them, they are poor, but 20p coin will keep them content and you less gulty
