share board for mse could i get an official vote please from fellow savers+investors.

basically would you like to see a part of the site that we could discuss shares, unit trusts, bonds etc and other alternateive investments.

eg we could have our own mse guide to buying ones first shares
companies that are cheap to broker with etc

and hopefully if we can show the great and honourable martin how much the community would like a shares/investment board then i think we can make it happen

so if you would like to see a share/investments subsection please cast your vote thank you.

Your survey is a bit odd - both options are voting for a shares board.

There is really no point in doing this survey as it isn't going to happen. This is a moneysaving site, not an investment site.

If you want to discuss individual investments then go to Motley Fool. They have whole forums dedicated to misguided souls crowing about their investments, despite the fact that it was unrepeatable blind luck rather than skill.

thank you pal you have high lighted the very problem that im hoping to solve and thats the if you want to discuss investments/shares etc then go to motley fool why cant we have our own shares/investments on MSE to rival TMF boards.

so i think its a great oppurtunity for mse.com

Why try and rival the MF boards? They are very good sources of misinformation for those that want it.

This board is not about investing. It is about moneysaving. People can go to Motley Fool to get misguided gossip-based investment recommendations, and then they can come here to check out the cheapest way to purchase those investments.

At least that way they will not waste quite so much money.
