As well as the cycling, I'm starting an economics blog.

Just what the world needs, another loony with a keyboard!

    Fair point. I'll drop it.

    I didn't mean you. :)

NDG was too open about herself and her family. My assumption is that her absence is to do with that. I expect she still reads the forum and would like to be posting.

Maybe another identity another time, though it would be difficult to go against your personality.

That's why I'll never be a sockpuppet, or whatever it is that gets bandied around. I'm not a prolific enough poster to consider such a thing anyway.

Oh, I see what you mean.

Well I keep my posts vague enough that I think I'm unidentifiable except by some massive fluke. Like being near Parramatta - I would imagine there are 500,000 people who live as close or closer than me to Parramatta, maybe even more. Of those I even know one other person who is a male banker from the UK married to an Aussie with kids round here!

Who's posted personal photos on here. :D
Don't worry, it was a while ago. They were lovely photos as well.

Most people are cautious enough to not need to worry. I think ndg was just a bit too revealing, especially about her work.

As far as being in Aus goes, I don't think you need to worry. I hope the work situation pans out okay and if you are all enjoying life there, then fantastic!

True although I went back and removed what I could find after an off board chat with !!!!!!.

I'll get something in the end over here. All I need is a start in something so I can get some capital together to start a business and I'm away. If it comes to it, I'll drive a cab although I can't do that until I've been here a year.

You need to have studied law for 3 years to be able to practice in any way here. I might do it anyway but I need a proper job first.

I might have one in a few weeks - I'll let you know if I get what I've gone for!

Thanks, I like photography. Australia is easy to photograph well as it's so beautiful.
