A pleasant 21 degrees in Sydney.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0

4am! I didn't realise there was such a time. I'd heard rumours but never seen it myself.
Good luck with the dogs.
ETA: We're all entitled to a whinge. It's the Pommie birthright!
Bless you.
4 am is a beautiful time of day, in the summer! Or if there is a full moon. You should try a just before dawn bikle ride? I guess bikes are pretty predictable though, in the dark horses are very different to in the light.0 -

For my weather you need to look up Parramatta rather than Sydney - we're normally a couple of degrees hotter than the City. Today it's about the same I think.
When it was really hot here a few weeks back it was (say) 35C in the City and 42C here! Even the Aussies were moaning. One night you could even smell the smoke from the bushfires !0 -

This is where I went today:

it's in a local park (Parramatta Park). An historic spot by local standards.
Looks gorgeous.
It's actually been a bright and sunny day here today (South-Eastern England) and should be similar tomorrow.
But we could do with some really hot weather (Mmm, just dreaming) to stave off the SAD symptoms.0 -

I love getting up early - you get the best of the day. We booked the Generalissimos in for swimming lessons at 8am on Sundays in the City so we have to get up early rather than lying around all day.0 -

It's a nice spot in a not very nice suburb. Luckily we don't live in Parramatta, we're a few ks down the road in a very nice, boring area.
I think it's the first area around Sydney to be properly farmed. The farm was given to The People and is now Parramatta Park.0 -
Gnight, to you all
