Solmar Car Hire Spain

Avoid this company at all costs.

My company had an account for 2 years with them in Spain. In that time we have witnessed terrible customer service. People left stranded in breakdowns without help. People being illegally charged for made up charges - cleaning, fuel etc. after they have returned car. No documentation in cars, sometimes no spare wheels.

Never had a problem with them and via Economycarhire have use them well over 12 times in last 15 months out of Murcia. As much as a pain in the a*** to check after you have collected the keys I make sure that before I leave all that should be there is there. Never Brokde down (touch wood) so cannot relate to that and surely the documentation you need is what you sign for in the agreement ?

The cleaning charge is an odd one ? and the fuel one is simple if its a return full policy get someone to sign the agreement before you hand over the keys to the Car company.
