Wrong bank address comes up for my Barclays sort code?

I have just added my current account details to my Egg internet savings account for transfer purposes. I have entered the correct sort code for my Crawley branch but the address for it comes up as Crawley, Leicester, Leicestershire LE87 2BB. My bank is in Crawley, West Sussex, RH10 something.
Do I need to get this checked out? Or is this a generic address that barclays use (as with their general phone number, regardless of which branch you want)?
Any ideas?

Not sure. Double check the sort code you entered... it could be Eggs system scrweing up.
As long as the account number and sort code are definately correct I wouldn't worry about the address.
If you're worried you could always test it with £1 or something.0 -
It's a generic address. Leicester is where all of our major processing operations are, along with Glasgow and Manchester.
You needn't worry, though - so long as your sort code and account number are correct, your transfer will be fine. What would William Shatner do?0 -
Thank you Barclaysmanager, that's good to know. :cheesy:0
