Dyson DC04 help please

I have a Dyson DC04 Lime and grey version and have managed to snap the handle off, I've been looking on ebay and there are a couple of options depending on whether or not it is a clutchless version (no idea dysons had clutches maybe they also have brakes I dont know about hehehe) or not.

Anyone have any idea how I find out which version mine is?

I have 2 suggestions - ring/email dyson and quote model number and ask. Or take it to a vacuum repairer and and ask their opinion.

where exactly is it snapped from?

my hadle wouldnt stay in its place because of the sprung green clip broke, cost about £1.50 from dyson themselves, took 10 mins to replace

maybe you could photograph where it has broken from?

Call their helpline - I've always found them fantastically helpful and once sent me a part free of charge. (lack of suction was due to a tiny hole in the tube)
